加拿大著名老牌影星唐纳德·萨瑟兰（Donald Sutherland）周四（20日）因长期病患在美国迈阿密逝世，享年88岁。

演艺事业横跨七十载的唐纳德·萨瑟兰获奖无数，2017年更获颁影坛最高荣誉“奥斯卡终身成就奖”。为人熟悉作品包括《普通人》（Ordinary People）、《十二金刚》（The Dirty Dozen）、《叛逆性骚扰》（Disclosure）、《永无止境》（Without Limits）以至较近期的《飢饿游戏》（The Hunger Games）系列等。

唐纳德·萨瑟兰参演《大腕》

唐纳德·萨瑟兰出生于纽宾士域省圣约翰市（Saint John），14岁即担任电台新闻记者，其后毕业于多伦多大学（University of Toronto），主修工程及戏剧。他有过三段婚姻，共五名子女，其中的基弗·萨瑟兰（Kiefer Sutherland）也是著名影星，曾凭主演电视连续剧《24反恐任务》（24）夺得艾美奖及金球奖，其父也曾于该两个颁奖礼夺得最佳男配角奖。

唐纳德·萨瑟兰于1978年获授官佐级（OC）“加拿大勳章”（Order of Canada），于2019年获授该勳章最高级别的同伴级（CC）。去年10月，加拿大邮政署发行了以他为主题的邮票，以表扬其作在加国最受尊敬和最有才华之一的演艺生涯。
