American Resident Artist: De Ma
De Ma was born in Da Lian, Liao Ning Province in China. De Ma loved art and painting since childhood. He studied at the American
Student’s Art League. His art making and his art toured across United States six times, also in Canada, South America and China.
De Ma’s best work are his colored Chinese sumi ink paintings, his landscape oil paintings, his large collection of pencil drawings.
His art seeks to invoke the viewers’ sensations responding to the color palette, communicating and conveying directly and subtly to the
viewers’ spiritual and emotional sentiments.

In the past several decades, De Ma attended over thirty exhibits worldwide including China, America, Holland,
Australia, Korea, Belgium, Portugal, UK, France, Japan and published in journals of many countries. His art
is also collected and sold by museums, galleries and private collectors. He is a professional artist in USA and is a member of the American Artists Association.
